GENERAL INFORMATION: Tax Code Section 1.085(a-1) requires a tax official to deliver communications to a property owner or the property owner’s designated representative electronically if requested using this form. The election remains in effect until rescinded, in writing, by the property owner or the designated representative.

ONLINE STEPS TO ENROLL IN ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

  • Click the link above “CLICK HERE TO REQUEST FOR ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS”
  • Create a Taxpayer Portal Account if one has not been created yet
    • Be Advised that a valid e-file PIN is required
  • On the property listing page, click on the Communication Tab, then click the sign up here button.
  • Follow the steps on the Electronic Communications Application.
  • Accept the Terms and Conditions.
  • Click Finish and a confirmation email will be sent.
