Important Information Regarding Late Protests
If today’s date is on or before certification, (typically July 20th) and after May 15th, the protest is considered to be late.
Late protests are allowed, if good cause can be provided for missing the usual deadline. The Appraisal Review Board (ARB) determines whether a property owner has good cause. The Appraisal District is NOT involved in this determination. If this is a late protest a Notice of Good Cause MUST be filed with the protest form. If you have any questions, please contact our office at 979-732-8222.
